What does Appfium do?

Appfium is an independent mobile app studio based in Germany. We design, build, and ship iOS and Android apps — both our own products and apps for clients — using React Native, Swift, Kotlin, and TypeScript.

Which apps has Appfium published?

Appfium has shipped 4 apps on the App Store and Google Play: Shelfify, Gahshomar گاهشمار, Einbürgerungstest Trainer, Arzesh.

Does Appfium work with external clients?

Yes. Alongside our in-house apps, we partner with founders and teams on iOS and Android app development — from first prototype to App Store and Play Store launch, and ongoing maintenance.

What technologies does Appfium use?

Our primary stack is React Native with TypeScript for cross-platform apps. We use native Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose when a product requires deep platform integration such as widgets, Live Activities, or platform-specific APIs.

Where is Appfium based?

Appfium UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, founded in 2025. We work with clients worldwide — on-site in Berlin, fully remote, or a mix of both.

Do you do design, or do I bring my own?

Both. We can design from scratch, work from your existing brand, or translate a Figma file you already have. We'll tell you honestly if something in a brief won't convert and why.

What does the site run on? Can I maintain it myself?

Every site is Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind, delivered as a static build you can host anywhere (Vercel, Cloudflare, Netlify, or your own VPS). Editors can update copy directly via Markdown files or an optional headless CMS — your call.

Can you build a multilingual site?

Yes. We ship sites with full i18n, proper hreflang, localized metadata, and RTL support where needed. Our app landing sites already run in 2 to 16 languages.

Do you handle hosting and ongoing maintenance?

We recommend Vercel or Cloudflare for most clients — fast, cheap, and hands-off. If you need a managed hosting setup or want us to monitor uptime, SEO health, and Core Web Vitals, we offer that as a monthly retainer.

What about SEO? Will my site actually rank?

Technical SEO is built in from day one — JSON-LD, semantic HTML, sitemap, robots.txt, Open Graph, canonical URLs, fast Core Web Vitals. Content SEO and long-term ranking is a function of content and backlinks, which we can advise on but which ultimately lives with you.
